Business Math with Applications in Microsoft Excel

Are you interested in learning Microsoft Excel, but concerned that your math skills will cause you to lag behind the rest of the class?

Do you cringe when you hear words like formula and function?

Are your math skills keeping you from moving ahead at work?

Then our Basic Mathematics with Applications in Microsoft Excel may be the answer to your problems.

 Description

We begin with the very basic arithmetic concepts of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Next, we’ll move on to fractions and percent. Before you know it, you’ll be solving statistical problems and creating business graphics from the results.

We’ll spend some time on the metric system and also banking, loans, credit, and investments. Learning to compute payments for homes and cars will build your confidence for the mathematics of finance and management modules.

Finally, we’ll cover purchasing and retailing problems.

Each week we’ll perform all calculations manually so they are fully understood. Then, we’ll apply everything we’ve learned using Excel.

U.S. employers spent an average of $647 per employee for training between May and October 1995. (That's only one-third of the year!) Extrapolated, that means almost $2000 per year was spent per employee in the U.S. in 1995. (Bureau of Labor Statistics, December 1996)

May we help you optimize your training dollars by providing free state-funded training for your employees?
