SolidWorks Mechanical Design

SolidWorks® has become a worldwide industry leader in affordable 3-D feature based parametric solid modeling software for mechanical design and engineering. SolidWorks utilizes an intuitive windows user interface, one of the best in the industry, and is based on the powerful Parisolid® kernel. Users of Pro-E®, Unigraphics®, Catia®, and other high-end CAD softwares are discovering the portability, shorter learning curve, and expanded power and capability of SolidWorks that is nearing that of the big systems.

This training program has been tailored for manufacturing, design, and engineering professionals who need to develop skill and speed in using SolidWorks to create complex 3-D solid models and prepare fully dimensioned engineering drawings. This is a 5-hour class that meets one day per week for 16 consecutive weeks. Our computer lab is state-of-the-art with Pentium IV computers that have been properly equipped for feature based solid modeling CAD work. This will be a no-nonsense class that will expose the participants to real-world modeling problems that push the envelope of SolidWork's capability.

Did you know?

U.S. employers spent an average of $647 per employee for training between May and October 1995. (That's only one-third of the year!) Extrapolated, that means almost $2000 per year was spent per employee in the U.S. in 1995. (Bureau of Labor Statistics, December 1996)

May we help you optimize your training dollars by providing free state-funded training for your employees?

"The training has helped me tremendously. My company  is excited and overwhelmed with the response I have given them. I've been able to impress the president of the company by making his life a little less complicated".
